Description
~ 14th Century Japanese Wakizashi Sword And Scabbard ~
The sword has a wavey hamon, iron tsuba with gilt floral decoration, aquatic gilt menuki and cream silk binding over a white fish skin grip. The scabbard is lacquered in black with a modern silk black and white binding. The tang is pierced with a single hole.
~ Condition ~
The sword is in excellent order with a tidy blade. The scabbard is tidy with a few blemishes and a small ding.
~ Dimensions ~
The sword is 76 cm (30 inches) in total length with a 55 cm (21.5 inches) blade.
