These pistols were manufactured 1861 - 1874, with a total production of 77,020. Many of these weapons found themselves in the hands of British Officers as private purchase items during the Crimean war and Boer War. This is an excellent rare to find Military Holster for Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army 'Tip Up' revolvers. Made of quality brown leather the holster is in undamaged with all stitching intact.
