An excellent British WW1 & WW2 Brass Trench Periscope with original case. The scope itself measures 17” overall without handle and is 29” overall with its screw off wood handle attached. It has an adjustable graduated eyepiece with Bakelite eye cup. All optics function as they should. The scope has its original leather lens cover attached to the frame. The frame is crisply marked 'Periscope No.14 TPL MK 4 OS 1427 GA R&JB (Beck Ltd) 9329'. The brass scope retains its original green paint. The scope is contained in its original hard fibre fitted case which has a padded hinged lid, webbing strap fastener with brass buckle and webbing shoulder strap with brass buckle.
