This is a nice ‘M1927’ bayonet for the Finnish modified ‘Mosin Nagant’ rifle (The Mosin–Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine–fed military rifle. Known officially as the 3-line rifle M1891and informally in Russia and former Soviet Union as Mosin's rifle (Russian: винтовка Мосина, ISO 9: vintovka Mosina), it is primarily found chambered for its original 7.62×54mmR cartridge). The 30 cm blade (41 ¼ overall) is marked with the manufacturers name of ‘Hackman & Co’ (Hackman was a cutlery and cookware company founded in Finland in 1790). The wooden grips are held with two pins and are in good solid condition. The number ‘72810’ runs down the spine of the grips. The steel scabbard is unmarked and retains 90% of its original paint.
