This is a unfired original WW2 1943 dated American M49A2 60mm High Explosive high explosive mortar with a black bakelite M 52 B1 nose fuse with the following stamps P.D.F M52B1 LOT K O P 2-36 3-43 (March 1943 date). The body retains virtually all of its original green finish. The body is stamped B.W. 60MM.M49A2 LOT 22878 62 1942 (date). The steel fins have their steel propellant retaining clips present on the fins.
