A very attractive 19th century Flintlock holster pistol made in the Balkan area with nickel silver mounts all highly decorated. The lock made in France and engraved MAYE MARSEILLE. The butt-cap, side-plate, trigger guard, fore-end and escutcheon are all very heavily chased. The stock is further inlaid with pieces of Coral and several nickel silver panels. The pistol showing some signs of use otherwise in reasonable condition. The lock in working order. Circa 1820-1830. Overall length 19 inches. Ref 2731.
