The makers name Richardson engraved on the lock-plate. William Richardson had a workshop of the Corner of Denmark Street and George Street in Limerick circa 1827-1837. The 3.5 inch octagonal barrel engraved on top LIMERICK. An oval shaped escutcheon fitted to the rear of grip and fine chequering to the grips. Captive swivel ramrod. Dolphin hammer. Action in working order. Overall length 6.5 inches. Some minor dings and scratches otherwise in very good condition. Ref 3198. This is an obsolete antique item and is sold as a collectors item only.
