A scarce English single shot percussion travelling pistol aprox .65 calibre, with a 9 inch barrel and a hinged Captive steel ramrod. Engraved on the lock ANDREWS and PALL MALL LONDON engraved on top of the barrel. Overall length 15 inches. Charles Andrews gun-makers had a workshop in Pall-Mall, London, circa 1821-1865. The pistol retains no original finish but is in very good condition overall with some light rust speckling around the breech area. Just needs a good clean. Circa 1840.
