Remington & Whitney Both Navy percussion revolvers .36 Revolver

Thinning out my high quality collection of percussion revolvers here I have two.

The Remington Navy is in top flight condition retaining most of its original bluing though the loading lever does show some thinning and having an excellent shiny bore. The action works perfectly and it would be difficult to improve upon this gun. Asking price of £3150 truly reflects the condition of this revolver.

The Whitney Navy revolver 2nd model fourth type is, given its age in really excellent working condition, price for this is £1950 It has a very even overall patina with a very good bore which does have a small area of internal pitting commensurate with its age. Nipples are fine with no mushrooming. Grips are very good with a small amount of oil staining. Cylinder is also very good and rotates and locks well. The rammer does have some light pitting as shown on the photos. A very fine example of an American Civil War Revolver.
