An original Imperial Japanese Infantry single breasted khaki field service tunic. The tunic without rank insignia has 2 exterior chest pockets with flaps and original brass buttons plus 2 waist pockets with flaps correctly without buttons. The inside of the tunic has a white cotton label with Japanese script (illustrated). The tunic has light service wear and would benefit from a good ironing having been stored folded for many years. All material is clean. All original brass buttons are present (one brass button absent from one sleeve and the button absent from the body of the tunic have at some point in their life been attached by cotton thread to the cuff buttons of the other sleeve for safe keeping which can be seen in the images).
