During WWII Marston Excelsior made metal fuel tanks for Wellington Bombers and other aircraft; pioneered development of flexible non-metallic fuel tanks, and self-sealing covers through collaboration between ICI experts in dyestuffs, leather cloth, metals, paint and plastic. This is a WW2 period Marston Excelsior ME 12 Mk.II Transistorised Shot Exploder for use in quarries. It measures 19cm x 10 ½ cm x 10 ½ cm, and weighs 3kg. It is Ministry approved and comes with its leather carrying strap, all of the stitching and buckles are intact with no damage. There is no key present. The price includes UK delivery. MISC 47.
