Create my profile now!This is an original BSA Standard Model No.2 Air Rifle with ‘T’ prefix serial number. These rifles were made from 1936 to 1939 (see page 29 of Hiller’s book ‘The Collectors Guide To Air Rifles & Chapter 10 of Milewski’s ‘Book Of The BSA Air Rifle’). This example has its original wood stock with chequered BSA panels pistol grip and ribbed butt with trap. It has a 19” rifled barrel and measures 45 ½” overall. The barrel’s bore is clean with typical light rifling. It has a pinched blade foresight & adjustable dial rear sight. The left side of the weapon bears the serial number 'T 6559' which dates it to 1939, the last year of production. The loading port is marked ‘2’ (.22 calibre). There are no visible cylinder markings. The metal work has original blue finish. The rifle loads & fires crisply. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 21977:1
