~ 32 Bore Percussion Manstopper Pistol ~

Manstopper pistols were designed for close-range self-defence and were popular in the early 1800s. This particular example has a bore of 32 and a nice pineapple finish.

*Condition*

 The pistol is in good condition for its age. The finish is nicely preserved and the woodwork only has some very minor marks. The hammer moves but the spring is very weak. The trigger moves normally. Please see the photos as they form part of our condition report.
