Description

So, have finally made the hard decision to sell my beautiful Air Arms TX 200 HC in .22.

Have owned this for a number of years, and it’s never left the garden, only been used on dry days and always re-oiled after use. It originally came with a beech stock, but I decided last year to upgrade to the belter looking and lighter Air Arms walnut stock (£240.00). I personally selected the stock from Air Arms directly, and spent many hours finishing it to this standard with extremely fine wire wool and progressively (less thinned down) coats of Tung oil, and finished with bison wax.

Personally, I’ve not seen one better looking than this one.

It has un upgraded and polished brass trigger and polished aluminium trigger guard and cocking lever grip, and has a ½” UNF Best Fittings anodised moderator adapter, that just unscrews if you prefer the standard parts (all included). All the bolts on the gun (not scope) have been replaced with polished stainless steel of the correct lengths and form. There is also an anti-bear trap 3D printed socket that you can use when loading if you have any concerns about safety when loading the gun (good little item but I never found myself needing to use it).

It has two spare mainsprings, a lower power o.e.m. version at around 11ft/lbs, and a high power (Tinbum Tuning) version if you have an FAC, that nicely pushes a 16grain diablo pellet up to 15+ ft/lbs. I have also polished the stainless steel trigger safety bar and breach/port cover as well. The rifle also has had an aluminium butt plate spacer added in to facilitate a sling swivel which removes the need to drill into a stock (again, easily removable if preferred).

The rifle has had a very easy life in its hard case (not included), always stored in a warm dry room and only fired 20 or so pellets a year at most I would think, and have soft cleaned the barrel at least once a year with oiled pull-through’s.

The gun has no marks on the wood (it is new after all!), and no marks anywhere on the metalwork whatsoever that I can see, including the Hawke 4-12x50 which is of course, included.

Shame to be selling it on tbh, but have too many air guns and getting away from springers these days, I can’t have this as well as my next rifle!

The moderator isn’t going with the gun as I need that for another project, but have the original parts that were replaced as well as a couple of mainsprings, and possibly an unused gun bag as well.

Realistically offering if for £550 – if you don’t think that’s reasonable, have a look at all other used TX200 HC’s available and show me one thats better or the same for less money!

Collection definitely preferred from North Dorset (and would give you a chance to see it in the flesh, and test shoot it if its dry!), but posting might be a possibility but would be at your risk and cost obviously.

Any questions, please feel free to ask!
