Description
A VERY UNUSUAL 7mm PINFIRE REVOLVER, IN FANTASTIC CONDITION.
In all my years of collecting I have never seen one with a rear sight on the barrel, it’s a very small “V”, but it works really well.
Perhaps this the pistol was intended to be used as a saloon pistol ? Where accuracy was very important.
Another unusual feature is pin on the loading gate to assist opening, again not seen before.
3 1/4 “ barrel, 7 “ overall.
6 shot cylinder.
Fine chequered ebony grips.
Plunger ejector.
Working perfectly on single and double action, with strong springs.
Belgian proof marks, & a No.8 on the cylinder.
This revolver has some other unique features that I have not seen before.
