This is an excellent Officer’s private purchase, percussion pistol by George Henry Daw made at 57 Threadneedle Street London. It is 12” overall with a 6” heavy steel barrel. The barrel has a ‘v’ notch block rear sight. The top of the barrel is signed ‘George H Daw 57 Threadneedle Street London’ and has proofs. The barrel’s smooth bore has just light staining consistent with age and use. It’s steel action plate is signed ‘George H Daw’. It has a heavy military hammer, brass fittings and steel military lanyard ring. It has an excellent undamaged all original walnut stock fitted with steel belt bar. The pistol has its original captive steel ramrod. Its cocking and firing actions work crisply. The price includes UK delivery.
