The bore is clean and bright and the rifling appears sharp, with well defined lands and grooves.
It appears that this rifle has been carefully stored for many years with little or no use.
The rear sight is a rare and valuable dioptre made by Faldt which replaces the original rear sight. The windage and elevation both adjust with positive clicks. The front sight is a shrouded post.
The top of the breech is marked Carl Gustafs Stads, Gevarsfaktori 1912.
The bolt has matching serial numbers to the barrel and other fittings.
