COLT A VERY RARE CASED \'WELLS FARGO\' MODEL 1849 POCKET .31 Revolver

A Very Rare Cased .31 Percussion Colt 1849 Model 'WELLS FARGO' Short Frame Pocket Revolver. All Matching S/N 55650 for 1853. Octagonal Sighted barrel with NEW-YORK CITY address, cylinder with roll engraved Stagecoach Hold-Up scene. Frame stamped 'Colts Patent' on left side, Brass Trigger Guard and Back Strap (some bruising to bottom) retaining much of the original Silvering, varnished figured Grips, faint traces of original Blueing and case hardening. In it's Mahogany Case (with Key) fitted & Lined in Burgundy Velvet with accessories comprising American Eagle & Shield Flask, Brass Bullet Mould stamped 'Colt's Patent' and later Nipple Wrench.
