9th Century Continental Double Barreled Overcoat Flintlock Pistol

Side by side configuration Boxlock Pocket Pistol with screw off cannon barrels stamped with proof marks.

The finely hatched one piece grip has silver wire chasing down the spine (some areas missing) and the action has a top sliding safety catch.

Both main springs are good and actions are crisp at half and main position.

There are the remains of the makers name on either side of the octagonal section of the body, but they are rubbed almost smooth.

The proof marks look like London Proofs.

A great looking piece in good condition.
