Create my profile now!INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a Russian RGD-5 (Ruchnaya Granata Distantsionnaya, (Hand Grenade Remote) practice hand grenade. The grenade is a Russian post-World 2 anti-personnel fragmentation grenade, designed in the early 1950s and introduced into service after 1954. The grenades body resembles the RGD-5 and the body is made of weighted black moulded rubber. The body is stenciled in white round its circumference with Russian script including the number 5. The fly off handle fuse is made of steel and is complete with its original fly off lever and safety pin. The fly off lever is stamped on the outside UZRGM irv and /73 with a black stencil 3 in front indicating a March 1973 manufacture date. The inside of the fly off lever is stenciled in black TK-2 and a 3. The price includes UK delivery and no licence is required to possess this inert hand grenade in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. O 1664
