MINT, Cased Limited Edition (No.P9390) Commemorative Fairbairn Sykes 2nd Pattern FS Fighting Knife 'Royal Marines' By Pooley Sword London With Etched Blade. Sn 10098

This superb, near mint, Limited Edition 2nd pattern FS Commando dagger was produced to Commemorate the British Royal Marines. The knife is in pristine condition. It has a beautiful blued blade etched on both sides. One side is etched with the Pooley Sword London manufacturer's name together with their legend & 'Royal Marines', the Royal Marines Regimental Badge with their mottos 'Courage, Determination, Unselfishness, Cheerfulness In Adversity'. The reverse has the dagger's limited edition issue number 'P9390' and Pooley Emblem. The knurled handle and plain cross guard retain all of their original finish. The dagger is contained in it's original wooden presentation case covered with blue leatherette material. The case has a hinged lid the top of which has the manufacturer's name and legend in gold and a single clasp fastener. The inside of the case is lined with blue felt.
