Create my profile now!This is a virtually mint India pattern No1 MII* with the fullers to the blade and a false edge tip, these bayonets are special to India (the MkII has a conventional tip). The blued blade is marked to the ricasso with ‘MkII* 8 43’ (August 1943) & JU (unknown maker). The wooden slab grips are in near perfect condition. The scabbard is a cut down ‘No1’ with steel mounts inspection marks and leather body, the stitching and steelwork are in good condition. The frog is a green ‘37’ pattern webbing example.
