This is an excellent rare to find complete , British WW1 Officer’s Portable Campaign / Trench Field Stove Cooker Set. The nickel plated white metal set consists of : a 1 ½” deep 2 ¾” diameter fuel tank with screw off filler cap and wick holder (the empty wick holder cap is firmly in place, to avoid damage we have not attempted to remove it), a 3 bar cooker stand which slots neatly onto the fuel tank, a 3 ¾ “ mouth diameter cooking pot with hinged lid and folding handle which tapers to just under 2 ¾” so it can slot securely onto the cooker stand, a just under 4” diameter cooking pot with hinged lid which tapers to just under 2 ¾” so it can slot securely onto the cooker stand and can double as an additional wind / spill protector stand by sitting the fuel tank / burner in it and a 4 ¼” tall, 1 ½” wide spirit fuel tank with screw top lid for filling the burner tank. The case contains 2 original period cotton bags with draw strings that can hold the filler tank and burner tank. The set is contained in its original rich dark brown hard leather transit case in excellent condition. The case measures 9”x 4 ½”x4”. It has a hinged lid retaining straps with brass buckle fasteners & strap loops to the left and right sides. The inside of the case is fitted to securely hold the set.
