A Very Large 19th century primitive hand-made Bowie knife with one-piece antler grip, plain circular steel cross-guard with guards to either side. The heavy blade with cut-back point, blade length is 10 inches. Some minor staining to blade. The antler grip made in 1 piece. This knife shows original signs of use and genuine wear. An excellent example of a great authentic large size 19th century Bowie-knife. Possibly made by a blacksmith in the wild west of the USA. No scabbard. Overall length 15 inches. Ref 3612.
