Circa 1840-1845. The 10.5 inch barrel stamped with A.B.2.12.U.B.No.60. and a Belgian proof mark. Standard brass military butt-cap, trigger-guard and side-plate. Captive swivel ramrod. The letter L marked on the lock plate. In 1848, the first Schleswig War broke out originating with the German minded population of Schleswig and Holstein against the reign of the Danish king in the duchies. The war ended in 1851 with a Danish victory over the rebels and the signing of the London protocol in 1852. Overall length 18 inches. Nice crisp action. In very good condition.
