The British Bren Light Machine Gun was introduced in the 1930's and used extensively by British & Allied Forces throughout WW2. Bren Guns were produced predominantly in Britain, Australia & Canada. This is an excellent Canadian WW2 dated .303 Calibre MK II Bren Light Machine Gun. It is complete with its bi pod, flip up rear sight, sling swivels, wood carry handle & original box magazine. The right side of its frame is crisply stamped 'Bren MK II' model detail and by the Canadian manufacturer 'Inglis' together with '1944' date. It's wood stock with steel butt plate is all original. The weapon is serial number 12T5990 and has other un-matching numbers. Deactivated to UK / EU specification in 2018 the gun’s slide and trigger move and the magazine can be removed.
