Serial number 1491 matches that of Berliner Suhler Waffen Gustloff. The breech cover is an early milled version which made by Rhienmetall Borsig from the period 1937-39. A rare cover and maker for this part.
Trigger group is also an early pattern milled for the Regler System, this has a blanking plug installed... No mechanism inside.
The weapon would appear to have been in Russian stores after the war. However is fully WAA stamped throughout.
Comes with a deac cert. Item is located in Gravesend area of Kent. Often in Ashford area so can arrange collection there. Its a heavy item so will be a collection piece or if able to arrange a meet and collect potentially. I do attend various events throughout the year.
I will listen to offers on this item.
